I have an affinity for direct and concise communication so I can appreciate the attempt here. Like Tarantino, I can understand that Bruce Lee’s daughter would be upset. However, if it’s not an accurate depiction of Lee’s character then that’s another topic entirely. The other thing Tarantino clarified, underscored really, was that Cliff Booth tricks Bruce Lee in the movie. That’s the only way Booth was able to one-up Lee, literal trickery.
