I don’t normally get excited for ensemble movies because they seem to consistently let me down. However, this particular gathering of actors has more than piqued my interest. To be honest, when Michael Shannon popped up, I was completely sold. Turns out I have learned to trust again. Thank you Michael Shannon. Look for ‘Knives Out’ in theaters November 27.
Trailer: The Shape of Water
Guillermo del Toro makes beautiful movies. Michael Shannon and Sally Hawkins do some fine acting and Octavia Spencer has never been anything less than a delight. Plus, interconnectedness is nice. Outlook good on this one. The Shape of Water hits theaters next month on December 1.

Michael Shannon is one of those actors that’ll get me to watch pretty much anything he’s in. Well there’s that, and this movie is described as a psycho-sexual love story. Look for Frank & Lola in theaters on December 9th.
